Presiden Prabowo Subianto menerima Menteri Energi dan Infrastruktur Uni Emirat Arab (UEA), Suhail Mohamed Al Mazrouei di Kertanegara, Jakarta, pada Kamis, (30/1/2025). Menteri Luar Negeri (Menlu), Sugiono mengatakan bahwa pertemuan tersebut dilakukan guna menindaklanjuti berbagai kesepakatan kerja sama yang telah memiliki payung hukum antara kedua negara.
Selain itu, pertemuan ini untuk memastikan implementasi kerja sama berjalan sesuai kesepakatan yang telah dilakukan.
“Jadi beliau datang kemari untuk mem-follow up kesepakatan-kesepakatan tersebut dan mengikuti detail-detail perkembangan,” ucap Menlu, mengutip keterangan resmi.
Adapun kerja sama yang dibahas menurut Menlu meliputi sejumlah sektor strategis termasuk energi dan perumahan, serta sektor lainnya yang bersifat menyeluruh.
“Ada banyak. Ada energi, ada perumahan, menyeluruh,” lanjutnya.
Sugiono menyampaikan bahwa Presiden Prabowo tidak memberikan instruksi secara khusus untuk jajarannya. Namun, Presiden menekankan pentingnya menjalankan seluruh kesepakatan dengan optimal dan mencari solusi segera jika terdapat kendala dalam pelaksanaannya.
“Tidak ada yang khusus, tapi beliau meminta agar kita melaksanakan semua kesepakatan tersebut dengan sebaik-baiknya. Kemudian kalau ada masalah-masalah dicari penyelesaiannya secepat mungkin,” kata Menlu.
Sugiono juga mengatakan kunjungan ini mencerminkan hubungan yang makin erat antara Indonesia dan PEA, serta komitmen bersama untuk menciptakan kerja sama yang saling menguntungkan di berbagai bidang strategis.
Turut mendampingi Presiden dalam pertemuan tersebut yakni Wakil Menteri Perumahan dan Kawasan Permukiman Fahri Hamzah, Sekretaris Kabinet Teddy Indra Wijaya, dan Hashim Djojohadikusumo.
Sementara itu, delegasi PEA yang turut hadir bersama Menteri Suhail yaitu Duta Besar PEA untuk Indonesia Abdulla Salem AlDhaheri.
