Penjualan motor di Indonesia mengalami penurunan pada September 2024 lalu. Berdasarkan data Asosiasi Industri Sepeda Motor Indonesia (AISI), penjualan sepeda motor domestik yakni sebesar 528.715 unit, turun 7,8% dibanding bulan sebelumnya yang mencapai 573.886 unit.
Kondisi ini seakan menegaskan kondisi daya beli orang Indonesia memang tengah mengalami pelemahan. Seperti tercermin dari deflasi yang terus terjadi, disertai sepinya pasar-pasar sembako. Juga, penjualan mobil nasional tahun 2024 yang selalu di bawah capaian bulanan tahun 2023.
Penjualan bulan September lalu juga menjadi yang terendah dalam tiga bulan terakhir, karena penjualan di Juli 2024 hampir mencapai 600 ribu unit, atau tepatnya 598.901 unit.
Secara keseluruhan, penjualan motor pada Januari-September 2024 mencapai 4.872.496 unit.
Tipe motor yang paling laku ialah skuter matik dengan porsi 90,16%, disusul sepeda motor bebek sebesar 5,37% dan tipe sport menjadi yang terendah sebesar 4,47%.
Bukan hanya domestik, penjualan motor untuk pasar ekspor juga tengah menurun. Pasar ekspor di September 2024 sebesar 51.944 unit, lebih rendah 8,4% dibanding bulan sebelumnya sebesar 51.944 unit.
Total penjualan ekspor di Januari-September 2024 nyaris 400 ribu unit, tepatnya sebesar 399.989 unit.
Skuter matik tetap dominan dengan pangsa pasar 46,55%, nyaris setengah dari pasar dalam negeri.
Uniknya tipe motor sport berada di posisi kedua dengan 27,11% serta motor bebek di posisi terakhir dengan pangsa pasar 26,34%
