Menteri Sosial (Mensos) Republik Indonesia Syaifullah Yusuf menyatakan Kementerian Sosial (Kemensos) menggelontorkan bantuan logistik senilai hampir Rp900 juta untuk korban banjir di Kabupaten Pasuruan, Jawa Timur.
“Untuk wilayah Kecamatan Rejoso dan sekitar yang terdampak, Kemensos memberikan bantuan senilai Rp900 juta untuk logistik bagi korban banjir,” ujar Syaifullah saat mengunjungi posko darurat banjir di wilayah Kecamatan Rejoso, Pasuruan, Minggu.
Syaifullah menjelaskan bantuan tersebut merupakan bantuan tahap awal yang disiapkan Kemensos selama masa kedaruratan di wilayah tersebut.
Dalam kunjungan ini, Syaifullah menjelaskan bahwa masa kedaruratan di wilayah rawan banjir di Kabupaten Pasuruan adalah selama satu bulan terhitung sejak Jumat (6/12/2024).
“Pemerintah Kabupaten (Pemkab) Pasuruan menyatakan masa kedaruratan selama satu bulan, semoga sebelum itu warga bisa kembali ke rumah masing-masing,” ujarnya.
Syaifullah mengapresiasi pihak-pihak yang terjun untuk membantu warga yang terdampak banjir ini dengan memberikan dukungan psikososial bagi anak-anak.
Ia menilai anak-anak yang terdampak bisa bergembira bersama serta mendapatkan kesempatan untuk belajar di posko pengungsian melalui bantuan psikososial tersebut.
Dari data yang disampaikan Syaifullah, terdapat sekitar 200 kepala keluarga yang berada di posko pengungsian di Kecamatan Rejoso.
Keseluruhan pengungsi yang berada di sana merupakan warga Desa Jarangan, Kecamatan Rejoso, Kabupaten Pasuruan.
Mensos menekankan bahwa Kemensos juga akan memonitor bencana banjir tersebut hingga memasuki masa setelah bencana.
Ia memastikan nantinya Kemensos membantu warga membangun infrastruktur yang rusak akibat terdampak banjir tersebut jika sudah memasuki masa rehabilitasi.
“Kita akan lakukan asesmen terhadap warga yang rumahnya terdampak, baik yang kerusakannya parah maupun menengah, akan kami beri bantuan untuk membangun kembali infrastrukturnya,” terang Syaifullah.
Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Pasuruan menjelaskan saat ini hanya tinggal satu desa di wilayah Kecamatan Rejoso yang masih tergenang banjir setinggi 50 sentimeter, yakni Desa Jarangan yang menjadi titik kunjungan Mensos tersebut.
