Momen menarik terjadi usai Presiden RI Prabowo Subianto menghadiri acara CEO Roundtable Forum dan akan memberikan keterangan pers di Lancaster House, London, Inggris Kamis (21/11).
Saat itu, Prabowo menyadari bahwa Menteri Keuangan (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani keluar dari tempat acara tanpa menggunakan mantel hangat (coat) di tengah kondisi cuaca yang begitu dingin.
Sri Mulyani memang hanya tampak menggunakan baju batik berwarna biru tua, tidak seperti menteri lainnya yang menggunakan jas serta syal.
“Enggak kelihatan saya kedinginan, padahal kedinginan,” ucap Sri Mulyani, dalam keterangan resmi Kantor Komunikasi Kepresidenan, Jumat (22/11/2024).
Mendengar hal tersebut, Prabowo lantas meminta Sri Mulyani untuk menggunakan mantel dan meminta para staf untuk membantu Menteri Keuangannya tersebut.
“Pakai over coat (mantel), pakai over coat. You’ll get cold [nanti Anda sakit],” kata Prabowo kepada Sri Mulyani.
“Bantu, bantu,” sambung Prabowo kepada para stafnya.
