Turut hadir mendampingi Presiden Prabowo di antaranya Menteri Koordinator Bidang Infrastruktur dan Pembangunan Kewilayahan Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Menteri Pekerjaan Umum Dody Hanggodo, Sekretaris Kabinet Teddy Indra Wijaya, Pj. Gubernur Jawa Tengah Nana Sudjana, Wali Kota Semarang Hevearita Gubaryanti Rahayu, dan Direktur Utama PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk atau WIKA Agung Budi Waskito (BW).
Dalam sambutannya, Presiden Prabowo menegaskan bahwa pembangunan infrastruktur ini menggunakan uang rakyat dan harus dimanfaatkan semaksimal mungkin untuk kepentingan masyarakat. “Setiap rupiah uang rakyat harus dipakai sebesar-besarnya untuk kepentingan rakyat,” ujarnya.
